Position Information Position Title: Computer Science Tutor (Davis Tutoring and Writing Center) Requisition Number: H01682P Position Category: Hourly/Work Study Campus Location: Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week: 7-20 Months per year: 12 Alternate work schedule Pay Grade: Salary Hourly Pay Rate $14.50 FLSA: Job Summary - Tutor WSU students in Computer Science at the Davis Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on a drop‑in basis. Availability for drop‑in shifts is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques. Job Open Date: 11/10/2025 • Review Date: 11/12/2025 • Job Close Date: 03/10/2026 • Open Until Filled. This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified. Required Qualifications Must be a WSU student in good academic standing. Faculty recommendation or endorsement. Must be able to tutor at the Davis Campus. Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor. A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
