Crafted Highlights In the role of Vice President Marketing, Coors Family of Brands working in Chicago you will be part of the Americas Marketing team. This role encompasses leadership of Coors Light and Coors Banquet, as well as oversight of marketing for any future Coors brand launches. This position reports to Sofia Colucci, Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with our sales, innovations, field marketing, and shopper marketing teams.

What You’ll Be Brewing

Define the strategic direction

for the Coors family of brands and establish clear, consistent brand positioning in collaboration with brand teams and directors across all consumer touchpoints; build a vision, a long-term strategy and annual operating plans

Build modern, creatively effective best-in-class marketing platforms, campaigns and programs

that connect with both current and new beer drinkers

Build business plans

that demonstrate deep consumer and commercial knowledge across all elements of the marketing mix

Integrate brand plans and activities

with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of resources and financial planning to achieve business objectives.

Partner with Sales leadership

to ensure brand plans are executable and clearly communicated to Key Accounts, Distributor Sales Organizations, and the broader distributor network.

Maintain strong stakeholder relationships , including Sales VPs, Key Accounts, Marketing VPs, distributors, and retailers, to drive alignment and flawless execution.

Deliver against volume, profit, and brand health targets

by leading execution across all elements of the marketing mix.

Lead collaboration with internal and external partners , representing Coors in Brand and Innovation Councils and global forums to share best practices and influence international strategies.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or other related field; or equivalent in experience

Experience:

10 or more years of relevant brand marketing experience, with a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and delivering business results; CPG brand marketing strongly preferred

Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders through valuing and respecting differences and believing everyone’s unique differences is the key to collaboration and a winning team culture

Expertise:

Strong understanding of brand positioning, marketing mix, and integration with sales and distribution networks; a disruptive thinker with a growth mindset who is constantly pushing to learn and elevate the marketing craft

Commercial and creative strength –

Need a marketer who can seamlessly blend both the creative and business realities, who can think creatively as well as commercially

Love for beer and the beer category:

We are looking for someone that understands our consumer and can relate and connect with beer drinkers

Communication:

Exceptional ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across internal and external partners.

Pay and Benefits Salary range: $263,200.00 – $345,400.00 USD per year. Target short‑term incentive: 45% + $175,000 USD, target long‑term incentive: $23,000 USD. Approximately $23,000 is spent on benefits per employee, including health, dental, vision, retirement with above‑market employer match, wellness incentives and an Employee Assistance Program, and paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).

The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non‑discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
