A.G. KUNZ LLC specializes in model-based design, product engineering and construction management for complex capital programs that apply a configuration-based approach. The company provides design, product development, and production management services to the global construction industry.
Responsibilities
As technical design integrator, manage, evaluate and improve product designs for a global program of data centers that power the internet.
Continuously integrate and evaluate complex designs modeled in various functional and spatial formats including 3D BIM & MCAD, working with design, engineering and construction teams to drive objectives such as quality, requirements traceability, system integration, DFMA and design for serviceability.
Evaluate complex systems and geometry for compliance with strategic and technical objectives.
Create 3D parametric models and analyze architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Perform 4D schedule simulation, model-based quantity and cost evaluation, and manage design data and version control platforms.
Qualifications
2+ years work experience in AEC.
Degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
Technical proficiency in BIM or MCAD software such as Autodesk REVIT and Dassault SOLIDWORKS.
Technical proficiency in finite element analysis or computational fluid dynamics (a plus).
