Job Duties And Responsibilities Develop, Edit, and Produce Creative Solutions
Produce video for digital in-store marketing materials, ensuring brand approach, visual/voice standards, activation ideas, and tactical promotion fully support the brand vision.
Use branded video templates, designs, and style guides to maintain a consistent brand experience across devices and vendors.
Implement best encoding and deployment practices.
Cross Functional Teammates
Support a design team and projects with visual merchandising, merchants, and DMN partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Collaborate with internal creative team to produce and edit video content and style guides.
Industry Trends
Remain current in the latest editing techniques and best practices.
Cross Functional Partnerships
Participate in strategic discussions around creative positioning, trends, and consumer behavior with Merchandising and Visual teams, providing practical insight and opportunities.
Articulate ideas, solutions, and provide technical recommendations to secure alignment around strategic creative solutions.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Video/Graphic Design, Marketing, or Communications.
3-5 years of editing experience, preferably for a major retail chain or advertising/design/marketing agency with retail clients.
Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite video tools – Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Strong digital design portfolio.
Core competencies in color correction, audio editing, and visual effects/motion graphics.
AI image generation – Midjourney, Runway (Preferred).
Animation & Video Web standards (Preferred).
Experience with CMS deployment.
Ability to partner cross-functionally and build strong partnerships.
Must be flexible and able to handle change in a fast-paced environment.
Must stay up to date on the latest production techniques and creative digital designs used in retail.
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize time to complete projects.
Some experience in video art direction preferred.
