Assistant Community Manager The Assistant Community Manager oversees daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. The role optimizes rent collection, manages all operations phases, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety, fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Management:

Post all payments and income, reconcile daily account receivables, follow up on bad debt, help the property meet budgeted revenues and expenses, post all charges, complete end‑of‑month closing procedures, maintain accurate records, and handle move‑out charges.

Personnel Management:

daily, screen, hire, train, coach, and develop onsite staff, ensure staff performance and compliance, promote effective leadership and staff harmony, maintain leasing techniques, and implement marketing and resident retention programs.

Administrative Management:

Monitor service request turnaround, maintain property appearance, supervise business functions, and use property resources economically.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training.

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

Regular standing or sitting for prolonged periods, repeat motions of hands, and ability to perform work in various environments including ladders, scaffolding, and confined spaces.

Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lb., operating machinery or power tools, and working overtime, weekends, night hours, and in hazardous conditions.

Salary Range : $14 per hour to $16 per hour.
