Community Manager role at Asset Living
Asset Living is a third‑party management firm that partners with communities nationwide. Founded in 1986, the company manages multifamily, single‑family, affordable, build‑to‑rent, active adult, and student housing properties across the United States.
Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of community operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management.
Supervise on‑site staff to ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety, fair housing, and liability guidelines.
Develop and manage the annual operating budget and forecast; implement cost controls and revenue improvements.
Execute strategic leasing plans, marketing, resident retention programs, and quality leasing techniques.
Coordinate maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities; manage emergency response and property appearance.
Maintain accurate reporting, reconcile deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry.
Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of fair housing laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
Regular communication, repetitive motions, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, and ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours.
Occasional ladder, stair, scaffolding, ramp, and tool use; lift up to 25 lbs.; operate machinery or motor vehicles.
License / Equipment
Reliable transportation required for emergency on‑call duties.
Salary Range : $25 per hour to $29 per hour
