Role Overview A Business Development Representative works with regional sales and marketing teams to identify and nurture customer projects that align with Canonical’s product portfolio. The role drives a high‑quality pipeline and promotes the brand across diverse industries and geographies.

Responsibilities

Execute outbound sales & marketing campaigns.

Research potential customers and market trends.

Generate high‑quality leads for Senior Sellers.

Own and close SMB opportunities within your territory.

Collaborate across teams and senior stakeholders to drive results.

Help define team processes and policies.

Travel to events and conferences worldwide to present on booths and drive face‑to‑face opportunities.

Qualifications

Demonstrated success in SDR or outbound sales, exceeding quotas and growing qualified pipeline.

Experience navigating prospective accounts to senior executive level.

Experience in enterprise software or technology sales.

Exceptional academic track record.

Passion for business and technology.

Commitment to continuous learning – curious, flexible, scientific.

Creative problem‑solving and cross‑team collaboration.

Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.

Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation skills.

Result‑driven with an over‑achiever spirit.

Ability to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
