- High-Acuity Coverage: Provide direct, in-house coverage for a Level IV NICU, the highest level of care available.
- Flexible Shift Coverage: Shifts are available across weekdays and weekends, including:
- Weekday Day Shift: M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Weekday Night Shift: M-F, 3:00 PM - 9:00 AM (Split)
- Weekday 24-Hour Shift: Full combination shift.
- Weekend Coverage: Full 24-hour shifts Friday afternoon through Monday morning.
- Supportive Environment: Practice within the distinguished MemorialCare system, supported by multidisciplinary teams and advanced tools.
- EMR System: The EMR system will be confirmed during the application process.
- Provide direct, in-house coverage for the Level IV NICU during assigned shifts.
- Manage critically ill neonates, ensuring the highest standards of clinically excellent, personalized care.
- Collaborate closely with the entire neonatal team and other subspecialists available at the facility.

- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Neonatology (BC).
- Licensure: An active California State License is REQUIRED.
- Recent Experience: Must have recent caseloads/experience within the past 12 months.
- Level of Care: Must have documented experience supporting a Level IV NICU.
- Documentation: Must have completed the Prescreen Questionnaire, and the CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained.
- The target start date is February 2, 2026.
