Leasing Consultant Responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations at a property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage property leasing and administration, including show, lease and move‑in of prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases.

Conduct all functions necessary to close the sale—appointments, lead generation, tours, maintaining model units, and follow‑up.

Complete leasing paperwork before move‑in, and assist with lease audits, unit walks and turnover processes.

Maintain accurate prospect traffic, leasing data and respond to leads within 24 hours.

Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and achieve leasing goals.

Perform various administrative tasks as needed.

Handle resident complaints, concerns and requests to ensure satisfaction.

Assist in resident retention programs (functions, promotions, newsletters).

Contribute to upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas and model unit.

Support marketing & outreach—implement annual plan, complete market surveys and reports.

Monitor customer service, service‑request turnaround and responsiveness.

Promote a favorable image of the community to attain property objectives and public recognition.

Enforce community policies as delegated by the immediate supervisor.

Education / Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software.

Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

Regular movement between work sites, including walking, ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Occasional lifting or handling of objects up to 25 lbs, operating machinery, vehicles, golf carts, and other tasks in various environments.

Ability to work overtime, weekends, night hours (emergencies), and in outdoor environments with extreme weather.

Compensation At Asset Living compensation is based on skill set, background and training. The base salary range is $19–$21 per hour. Full‑time employees receive a comprehensive total‑rewards package, including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and commission and performance bonuses when applicable. Paid sick days and company holidays are also provided.

Salary Range $19 per hour to $21 per hour
