Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Make coverage determinations and conduct complex investigative work
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue
Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors or management as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
High school diploma (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of filling the position
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience handling commercial claims
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Demonstrated ability to actively shape company culture and participate in community initiatives
