Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Conduct investigative work, make coverage determinations, and advise customers on claims
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds and claimants
Assist with taking first notice of loss calls and participate in department phone queue
Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors and participate in team meetings as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain license(s) within 90 days of filling position
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to travel as needed for the role, including team meetings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in commercial claims handling
Bilingual (Spanish) skills
Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups
