Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision
Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity, including coverage and damage concerns
Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
Participate in taking first notice of loss calls and assist in the department phone queue as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
4‑5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3‑5 years in casualty adjuster experience
High school diploma (HS/GED) or at least 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain license(s) within 90 days of filling the position
Exceptional communication skills and ability to shape company culture
Willingness to travel as needed for role and team meetings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Commercial claims handling experience
Bilingual (Spanish) skills
Active participation in employee resource groups and community service
