Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims efficiently with stakeholders
Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors or management as necessary
Participate in first notice of loss calls and assist in the department phone queue
What is Required (Qualifications):
4-5 years of claims experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster roles
High school diploma (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years experience in casualty claims within the P&C insurance industry
Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of employment
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Ability to travel as needed for role, including team meetings and other in-person engagements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in commercial claims handling
Bilingual (Spanish) skills
Active participation in shaping company culture through involvement in community or team-building activities
