Serve as the owning adjuster for first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims with reserves up to policy limits Investigate, evaluate, and settle medical expense and PIP claims Make coverage determinations and communicate the appropriate course of action to customers Rule out exposures such as uninsured/underinsured motorist and subrogation during investigations Present coverage issues to committees as needed What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience required Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Required to obtain and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Outstanding interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Prior experience with PIP claims and first-party medical coverage Knowledge of handling collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures Bilingual skills are a plus Ability to complete training and perform effectively in a remote work environment Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups and volunteering We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
