What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage moderately complex first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims

Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims, ensuring proper coverage determinations

Serve as the owning adjuster for injury exposure cases with reserves up to policy limits

Rule out exposures such as uninsured/underinsured motorist and subrogation

Present findings on coverage issues to committees as necessary

What is Required (Qualifications)

A minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience is required

Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required to obtain and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment

Strong computer navigation abilities and outstanding interpersonal skills

Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Prior experience handling PIP claims and first-party medical coverage

Knowledge of collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures

Bilingual skills are a plus

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
