PIP Claims Specialist - Remote

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage and conclude moderately complex claims involving Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims
Investigate, evaluate, and settle medical expense and PIP claims, making coverage determinations
Act as the owning adjuster for first-party claims with reserves up to policy limits
Rule out exposures such as uninsured/underinsured motorist and subrogation through investigation
Present coverage issues to committee and assist with FNOL calls and Claims Advisory Support as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience
Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required to obtain and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Strong interpersonal skills and computer navigation abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and a solid understanding of insurance coverages
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Prior experience handling PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
Knowledge or experience with collision, loss-of-use, and third-party property damage claims
Flexibility to work shifts during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
Bilingual skills are a plus
