Position Leasing Consultant – responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of a property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct property leasing and administration, including showing, leasing, and moving in prospective residents.
Maintain regular daily onsite attendance and maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
Close the sale: make appointments, generate and follow‑up new leads, maintain model units, and complete leasing paperwork before move‑in.
Assist with lease audits, walk‑throughs, and the turn process.
Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Handle resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in resident retention programs (functions, promotions, newsletter).
Participate in general upkeep and cleaning of office and common areas.
Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan and outreach.
Conduct market surveys/analysis and prepare weekly reports.
Manage customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and enforce community policies.
Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills and understanding of on‑site software functions.
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
Regular movement, communication, and repetitive wrist/hand/finger motions.
Ability to use ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and step stools, and to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs., operating machinery, vehicles or golf carts, working overtime, nights, weekends, or in extreme conditions.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. Full‑time employees receive paid sick days, company holidays, 401(k) with employer matching, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance. Performance‑based commissions and bonuses may apply.
