We’re looking for a detail-oriented Appraisal Coordinator to join our growing mortgage team. In this role, you will manage and oversee the entire appraisal process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of reports to support the mortgage underwriting process. You’ll be the key liaison between loan officers, appraisers, and underwriters, coordinating appointments, tracking progress, and resolving issues to keep the loan pipeline moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in the mortgage industry with a strong understanding of appraisal guidelines and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee and process all appraisal orders and transfers with accuracy and prompt turnaround times.

Arrange and monitor pest inspections, water quality testing, and fire inspections to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams to support seamless loan file processing.

Handle, organize, and update all documentation related to Certificates of Eligibility.

Deliver administrative and operational assistance to senior loan processors.

Complete all responsibilities in alignment with company policies and established industry standards.

Qualifications

Prior experience in mortgage operations—ideally with a concentration in appraisal coordination or processing—is strongly preferred.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple files and deadlines at once.

Proficient in mortgage-related software platforms (e.g., Loadasoft, Google Sheets, Outlook) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.

Outstanding communication and customer service skills, enabling effective collaboration with appraisers, loan officers, and underwriters.

Keen attention to detail and accuracy in managing documents, scheduling tasks, and performing data entry.

Able to work independently while also partnering effectively with cross-departmental team members.

Compensation $48,000 - $60,000 per year
