We are seeking a Audio Visual Sales Manager to join our team at the La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, TX. The Sales Manager will sell Audio Visual equipment and services at the La Cantera Resort to capture maximum AV business and revenue. This position will also communicate directly with clients, the hotel, and the internal AV team to ensure meeting success. What Will You Be Doing? Sales at the property generate quotes, correspond with clients, and target revenue goals Working directly with the client to determine their meeting needs and perspective, and match them to AV services and products Working closely with hotel sales staff and others to contact upcoming clients and secure AV business Participating in on-site and off-site visits with prospective clients, as well as pre- and post-event meetings Negotiating directly with clients to secure AV business and client vision Working closely with AV staff to consult on the selection and acquisition of AV equipment and labor Reviewing the final billing directly with the client and obtaining approval of all AV charges Negotiating billing if necessary to ensure complete client satisfaction Following up with all clients through thank you letters and post-event service evaluations. What Do You Need? Must have 5 – 6 years of experience in Audio Visual Sales. Experience working within the hospitality audio visual sales industry or for an audio visual company in sales is required. High degree of demonstrated customer service, sales, and hospitality skills. Proven experience in developing positive customer relationships and focusing at all times to increase customer satisfaction. Strong knowledge with the capabilities of audio-visual equipment, set-up, and general operations. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, networking, IT device management, PC, and Mac operations. Exhibits excellent communication skills, both oral and written: is clear, concise, sincere, and persuasive. Demonstrates creativity and initiative in capturing AV business. Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, sometimes stressful team environment. High degree of ownership and self-initiation skills, as well as a positive professional demeanor. Flexibility to accommodate a changing work schedule (night, weekends, early mornings) as needed to meet clients. Ability to set an example for professional grooming and presentation standards as required by the hotel partner/specific worksite What Do You Get? Posee excelentes aptitudes organizativas y capacidad para administrar múltiples tareas en un entorno de equipo de gran volumen, a veces estresante. Un alto grado de propiedad y auto-iniciativa habilidades, así como una actitud profesional positiva. Flexibilidad para competir con un horario laboral cambiante (noches, fines de semana, tempranas horas) según sea necesario para cumplir con sus clientes.
