Order Picker

Job Summary:
Our Boise, Idaho facility is looking for an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders promptly. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or electronic scanners.
• Verify item codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
• Transport picked items to designated packing or shipping areas.
• Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory management tasks.
• Follow all instructions carefully to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to perform sustained physical work, including Lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
