Sales Counselor Everstory Partners

Job Summary Sales Counselor sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services and inventory, as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.

The role assists families with funeral selections and attends services, providing compassionate, personalized support throughout the grieving process.

Location: Springfield, MO

Responsibilities

Lead generation through walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.

Present funeral options and guide families through selections.

Attend funeral services and support families during the event.

Enter and manage leads in a CRM, maintaining accurate records.

Travel to client appointments and community events; driver’s license and personal vehicle required.

Assist with training and ongoing performance development.

Maintain discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Work occasional holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.

Preferably 1 year of sales experience.

Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook).

Experience with a CRM or lead management system.

Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain confidentiality.

Benefits & Compensation

First‑year earnings estimate: $40,000–$60,000 (base salary plus un‑capped commission).

Training pay $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.
