What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Handle moderately complex Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims from start to finish
Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims involving medical expenses and PIP
Make coverage determinations and guide customers on appropriate actions
Investigate potential exposures like uninsured/underinsured motorists and subrogation
Present coverage issues to the committee as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience
Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must obtain and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Strong computer navigation skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Outstanding interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Prior experience with PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
Knowledge in handling collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures
Bilingual skills are a plus
Flexibility to work varying shifts during operational hours
Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups
