Responsibilities
Direct and supervise the maintenance team in performance, job duties, and scheduling.
Provide excellent customer service while working with residents.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, sheet rock, etc.
Monitor and replenish maintenance inventory based on property needs, staying within budget.
Complete ongoing property and unit inspections, documenting updates and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with vendors for outsourced work at the property.
Ensure the team delivers Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all residents.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Minimum of three years as a Lead Maintenance Technician.
Working knowledge of onsite or Yardi software.
Proficient in English (read, speak, write).
Ability to pass a full background check.
Reliable transportation.
Additional preferred requirements: Experience in apartment maintenance, participation in UPCS/REAC inspections, and experience with resident‑occupied project renovations.
Work Details Location: Memphis, TN Salary: $28.00 - $30.00/hour (up to $20.00 per hour plus bonuses) Employment type: Full‑time Shift: Monday–Friday, with availability for after‑hours calls, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
