Tax - Business Tax Services – Corporate Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities
Preparing or reviewing federal and state tax returns for U.S. corporations and some partnerships, including foreign reporting requirements for cross‑border tax compliance.
Providing tax research, tax memoranda drafting, and helping with quantitative modeling for private client tax advisory services.
Identifying and communicating significant tax matters to Senior Managers, Managing Directors, and Partners.
Liaising with other service lines and subject‑matter professionals.
Building effective long‑term relationships with clients and tailoring services to their unique needs.
Communicating complex tax issues to non‑tax professionals and clients.
Keeping current on technical best practices and sharing knowledge.
Managing, coaching, and developing a team of tax professionals.
Identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.
Skills and Attributes for Success
A bachelor's degree in a related field, with tax, business or financial planning experience.
A CPA certification or membership in the Bar.
Prior experience with ASC 740 tax provisions.
Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and confidence to challenge stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Minimum five years of experience in professional services or a professional tax organization.
Commitment to continuous learning.
Proficiency with tax software such as RIA, CCH IntelliConnect, OneSource, BNA or Lexis Nexis.
Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring junior colleagues.
Willingness to work in a balanced hybrid environment and travel as needed.
