This position is a part‑time independent contractor role (paid per appointment/event). Base Pay: $30.00/hr - $32.00/hr. Some travel expenses may be covered depending on appointment location.
Responsibilities
Travel to specified locations to obtain samples.
Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
Gather mandatory information from patients and verify identities.
Obtain vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
Accurately label all samples.
Maintain accurate patient records, detailing any medical issues experienced during venipuncture procedures that may affect test results.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Excellent customer service & communication skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
Detail‑oriented and strong organizational skills.
Professional, responsible, self‑starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
Reliable transportation.
Computer proficiency, internet access, and printer/scanner; ability to print, scan, and upload required documents.
Pay & Schedule Paid per appointment; bi‑weekly pay. Location‑based travel expense coverage may apply.
