Looking for a candidate ready to take the next step into a working manager role. Responsibilities include:
Shape and execute pricing approaches for manufactured products, using a mix of cost-based, value-driven, and market-aligned methods to support profit and growth targets. Evaluate production economics, supply chain inputs, and market conditions to guide timely pricing decisions. Research competitors and market dynamics to uncover pricing opportunities and strengthen market positioning. Track pricing results and refine strategies to hit revenue, margin, and volume objectives. Work with sales and operations to develop pricing frameworks, discount structures, and contract terms that aid customer acquisition and retention. Lead the creation of clear, compelling proposals in partnership with sales, marketing, and innovation teams. Drive the rollout of pricing systems and analytics tools to improve decision-making, speed, and forecasting accuracy. Perform in-depth cost reviews to spot efficiency gains and margin enhancement opportunities. Keep current on industry shifts, input costs, and regulatory updates to adjust pricing proactively. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Required); MBA preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 3-5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or strategic finance Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI), and ERP software Understanding of manufacturing cost structures, supply chain dynamics, and competitive positioning Salary $100-130k Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
