Account Executive – Small & Medium Business (Gulf Coast) An essential member of the National Account Sales team, bridging field and inside sales efforts, this role offers significant opportunities for growth within a dynamic global company.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a robust strategic in-house and field sales strategy.

Meet and/or exceed sales quota for the Verisk Claims suite of products.

Complete special projects and juggle multiple duties and assignments.

Represent Verisk and present its solutions in sales meetings and at trade shows.

Attend industry events.

Manage business relationships with customers and strategic partners.

Negotiate and assist in negotiations with customers and partners.

Contribute to strategic thinking and plans for new‑business direction and development.

Monitor competitor activities on an ongoing basis.

Work closely with senior management, product development, and the sales teams.

Complete all responsibilities as outlined on the annual Performance Plan.

Qualifications

BA/BS in business (or insurance equivalency), or related field.

At least 5 years of outside sales experience – preferably in software and/or technology.

Excellent negotiation skills that lead to closed deals and satisfied customers.

Trustworthy, ethical demeanor with an engaging phone voice and enthusiastic personality.

Preferred experience in P&C insurance, SIU, and/or the claims handling profession.

Demonstrated persuasive written and oral communication skills and relationship building.

Excels at presentations; comfortable presenting in small and large group environments.

Outstanding organizational and meeting‑follow‑through skills.

Thrives in a sales‑team collaborative environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft® PowerPoint, Gong, SalesForce.com, and Teams.

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Up to 50% travel, primarily in North America.
