McCormick is a leader in herbs, spices, seasonings, and condiments. We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager for the West Region (CA, AZ, WA, CO, NV, OR) who will work remotely from their home office and report to the Vice President of Sales for Branded Foodservice (BFS).

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver customer sales and marketing plans for existing accounts, while seeking new business development opportunities.
Provide detailed information about each customer to management to include expenditures versus sales forecast, budgeted expenses, business trends and trade spend. Measure success and failures and formulate specific action plans to address problems and maximize opportunities.
Manage regional broker, regional/local distributors and operator account networks, including training of McCormick product offerings, policies and procedures, score carding and performance reviews.
Interacting with cross‑functional teams and various management levels within McCormick and presenting to executive‑level audience.
Using critical thinking in decision making process to draw upon professional experience, market and industry knowledge, data and intuition.
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales, marketing and trade spend plan for region level distributors.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Food Service and managing Food Service Brokers
Bachelor’s Degree
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel 50%; occasional weekends necessary.
Experience in training, leading and motivating a food service broker network.
Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communications skills with a demonstrated ability to work across functions & cultures and interact with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability of being a dynamic self‑starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Experience in Sales Management with Leading Consumer Packaging Company.
Experience participating on projects, supporting key initiatives with the business.
