We’re searching for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our US Branded Foodservice (BFS) Sales team for the West Region (CA, AZ, WA, CO, NV, OR). This remote role reports to the Vice President of Sales for Branded Foodservice.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver customer sales and marketing plans for existing accounts while seeking new business development opportunities.
Provide detailed information to management on each customer, including expenditures versus sales forecast, budgeted expenses, business trends and trade spend; measure success/failure and formulate specific action plans.
Manage regional broker, regional/local distributor and operator account networks, including training of McCormick product offerings, policies and procedures, score carding and performance reviews.
Interact with cross‑functional teams and various management levels within McCormick and present to executive‑level audiences.
Use critical thinking in decision‑making to draw on professional experience, market and industry knowledge, data and intuition.
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales, marketing and trade spend plan for region‑level distributors.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Food Service and managing Food Service Brokers.
Bachelor’s degree.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel 50% and occasional weekends.
Experience in training, leading and motivating a food service broker network.
Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communication with a demonstrated ability to work across functions & cultures and interact with all levels of the organization.
Dynamic self‑starter, able to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems.
Ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, prioritize and ask for assistance when necessary.
Collaboration skills to resolve issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA.
Experience in Sales Management with a leading consumer packaging company.
Experience participating on projects, supporting key initiatives with the business.
HQ relationships with major broadline food service distributors.
