Job Summary
Housing Stability Specialist - QMHP
works amid a multidisciplinary team to help individuals and families achieve housing stability. This Qualified Mental Health Professional defines and facilitates desired life outcomes by delivering therapeutic interventions, fostering skills to manage symptoms, obtain and maintain housing, locate and remove barriers, and coordinate ongoing rental assistance. The specialist may also facilitate psychosocial rehabilitative skills training groups, utilize evidence‑based interventions, and coordinate services related to employment, education, medical care, nutritional, financial, transportation, and legal assistance.
Responsibilities
Deliver individual, family, and/or group skills training using evidence‑based interventions.
Conduct crisis assessment and case management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and develop extensive knowledge of community resources.
Operate in dynamic office‑ and community‑based settings, often requiring the use of a personal automobile.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
License:
Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
Qualified Mental Health Professional who embraces trauma‑sensitive and informed practices, provides Suicide Safer care, and fosters a supportive environment.
Ability to work under general supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to forge therapeutic relationships.
Hours & Salary Hours:
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Salary:
$24.18 – $25.39 per hour based on education.
