Job Summary And Accountabilities The Sales & Events Coordinator supports both the Sales and Coordination Managers. This hybrid role focuses on sales performance and client engagement, maintaining GT's service standards and contributing to the success of sales, events and overall operations.

Essential Functions

Conduct site tours for prospective clients, communicate services, prepare estimates, respond to inquiries via phone, email, mail, maintain leads database, complete weekly follow-ups, book weddings and events, create/maintain event files, update calendar, send vendor reminders, close event folders, assist coordination of special events, consult with Sales Manager.

Meet with potential clients to understand vision, communicate Grand Tradition offerings (food & beverage, room options, layouts, entertainment, décor, vendor coordination, special requests), recommend additional services, schedule and conduct rehearsals, ensure event spaces set, coordinate day-of execution, lead staff and vendors, monitor service and inventory, resolve issues, consult Coordination Manager.

Assist with phone answering, wedding payments, availability checks, Veranda reservations, and other tasks as required.

Qualification Standards

Minimum of HS diploma or GED, or 5 years sales/event coordination experience.

Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize schedule.

Ability to work well with all levels of employees and customers and maintain positive attitude.

High interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and self-starting ability.

Proficient with computers, data entry, MC Excel, MS Word, MS Access, etc.

Flexible and open communications to Management.

Current sexual harassment and Responsible Beverage Service training certificates.

Ability to train and mentor employees on performance standards.

Stand, walk, crouch, climb stairs.

Reach, grasp, operate equipment.

Manual dexterity for keyboard functions, repetitive motions.

Minimum visual acuity for reading numbers, printed instructions, video displays.

Lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently.

No substantial exposure to adverse conditions.
