Summary To market and increase general awareness of a new urgent care medical clinic. This role introduces the clinic’s medical services to local businesses, physicians, and consumers. The main focus is to meet with small business owners and HR/benefits managers of mid‑to‑large businesses and agencies, and have the clinic added to their employee referral panels for employment‑related physicals and injury/illness care. Another key factor is to increase overall community awareness of our services and brand American Family Care to consumers through ongoing marketing and sales events.

Company Overview American Family Care (AFC) is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). AFC Urgent Care New Garden in Greensboro, NC is a franchised location of AFC. This position is employed by the local center and reports directly to the local Center Administrator and Franchisee.

Job Summary To sell and market urgent care medical services to local businesses, physicians, and consumers. The main focus will be to grow the patient counts per day, increase the number of local businesses using our services, and brand American Family Care to the consumer through marketing and sales events.

Responsibilities

Increase the total number of patients per day.

Develop strategies to increase market awareness of urgent care, especially regarding occupational health services in the local area.

Define target markets, business opportunities, and customers through data mining, research, and experience.

Represent the company through calling on local businesses, medical practices, presentations, or industry events and assume full accountability for the ongoing management of these opportunities.

Develop and manage the departmental budget.

Establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with all departments, center, and corporate employees, and franchisees.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Initial goal: increase overall awareness and build relationships.

Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.

Successful experience developing, implementing, and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies.

Ability to conduct face‑to‑face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct‑to‑consumer, business, and physicians.

Strong organization and communication skills.

Independent, motivated, and results‑driven in establishing new business, following through with communication with all accounts, and being held accountable for business growth.

Experience with and/or willingness to work with Excel and Microsoft Office Products.

Each franchise‑owned and operated location recruits, hires, trains, and manages their own employees, sets their own employment policies and procedures, and provides compensation and benefits determined by that franchise owner. This position has strong potential to grow as AFC New Garden grows.

Compensation Compensation: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour.
