TRAVEL: Low (11-25%)

What you’ll do: At SCA, you’ll play a key role in driving our mission to keep communities clean and safe across the country. As an Inside Sales Rep, you’ll help support our dedicated field teams and deliver critical services that make a visible impact every day. Whether you're leading people, optimizing processes, or providing essential support, your work will contribute directly to our success—and to the communities we proudly serve.

Your daily impact: The job responsibilities below outline the core duties and expectations of a position, providing clarity on how the role supports Company goals. However, as business needs evolve, these responsibilities may shift over time to reflect new priorities, processes, or technologies:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Conduct outbound calls and emails, research and qualify new prospects using CRM and public data, and set appointments with qualified opportunities for handoff to outside sales.

Sales & Customer Engagement:

Respond to inbound inquiries, educate prospects on services and compliance benefits, build relationships with decision-makers, and assist with pricing, scopes, and proposals.

Account & CRM Management:

Maintain accurate CRM records, track follow-ups and opportunity status, support renewals and upsells, and coordinate with operations on service feasibility and scheduling.

Performance & Reporting:

Meet activity and sales targets while providing market feedback on pricing trends, customer needs, and competitive conditions.

Education:

High School or GED (College preferred)

Experience:

1+ year experience with inside sales, customer services, or call-centers (B2B preferred)

Demonstrates a strong, professional phone presence and clear, concise written communication.

Prospecting & Follow-Up Discipline:

Comfortable initiating outbound outreach and consistently managing follow-up activities.

Maintains accurate records, prioritizes tasks effectively, and ensures details are handled correctly.

Technical & Tool Proficiency:

Uses CRM systems, Excel, and email tools efficiently to track activity and manage information.

Learning Agility & Industry Knowledge:

Quickly learns industry terminology, service offerings, and compliance requirements.
