Pay Philosophy and Compensation
Starting base salary is $45,000 with opportunity for growth.
Average earnings range from $55,000 to $75,000 through a combination of base salary and generous commission.
Top Performing Agents in their second year and onward can earn up to $85,000+.
Position Details As an Inside Sales Agent you will be handling inbound calls and warm leads, consulting with customers on their insurance needs and matching the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert sales leads into policyholders.
Responsibilities
A Passionate Seller – skillfully pick up the phone and use sales expertise to turn prospects into policyholders.
A Front Lines Liaison – represent the Liberty brand, believe in what you’re selling, and connect customers to the right products.
A Reliable Teammate – adapt well to different environments and schedules.
A Customer‑Centric Closer – care that customers get exactly the quality products and services they need.
Training and Benefits
Training extends over 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires.

No cold calls – all incoming warm leads.
Opportunities for rewards and recognition.
Must be available to work a schedule of 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day with a mid‑morning start time. Example 11am‑8pm (CST). This schedule can be expected for a minimum of 12 months before consideration for another shift.
All computer equipment is provided. You must be able to maintain a professional workspace with high‑speed internet connection (minimum 100 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload). Liberty Mutual does not support satellite or mobile internet service.
Qualifications
2–3 years sales experience preferred. 2 years of sales/service‑related work experience required.
Strong, engaging interpersonal and persuasion skills needed to close sales.
Ability to communicate well to both prospects and customers.
Excellent analytical, decision‑making and organizational skills.
Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency.
Property and Casualty license required after hire.
Eligibility Available for candidates based in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan, Maryland, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Kentucky. Applicants must reside within these specified locations to be considered for this role.
