Responsibilities
Drive profitable sales growth by developing, maintaining, and advancing accounts through regular contact with dental offices within a defined territory.
Target territory includes Modesto, Stockton, CA, and surrounding areas.
Build a “practice partner” mentality with doctors and staff by analyzing business needs, presenting benefits of equipment and technology solutions, coordinating product demonstrations, explaining ROI and tax advantages, and discussing industry trends.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, customer orders, sales records, and other financial activity.
Other duties related to the Territory Sales Representative position as assigned.
Essential Functions
Develop a “practice partner” mentality with doctors and staff.
Be well-versed on Patterson products, services, and industry information.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity.
Other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any related field and 3‑5 years of B2B outside sales experience (or equivalent education/experience).
Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning, and organizational skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate.
Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
General computer proficiency, including MS Office.
Valid driver’s license.
3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.
This position is paid on a commission basis.
