What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage national outside sales and technical responsibilities for the nVent Telecom product line

Drive revenue through customer education and influence end-user specifications

Develop and maintain relationships with key distributor accounts and manage pricing

Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information to customers

Collaborate with marketing and internal resources for product promotion and support

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a technical discipline

Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in the telecom industry

Experience working with third‑party rep agencies is highly preferred

Ability to travel 60% of the time and maintain a valid driver’s license

Proficiency in negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience using Salesforce.com

Track record of closing strategic opportunities and managing customer relationships

High level of organizational and time‑management skills with minimal supervision

Familiarity with the electrical products relevant to the telecom industry

Demonstrated ability to analyze industry trends and launch new products
