What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage national outside sales and technical responsibilities for the nVent Telecom product line

Drive revenue by educating customers and influencing specifications for product approval

Track sales opportunities and activities using Salesforce.com

Develop and maintain relationships with key distributor accounts and manage pricing

Provide training and technical support to agents and perform product demonstrations

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred, with a technical discipline highly preferred

Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience in the telecom industry selling electrical products

Experience managing or working strategically with third-party rep agencies

Valid driver's license and ability to travel 60% of the time

Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience using Salesforce.com

Proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the electrical or telecom sectors

High level of organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Familiarity with electrical connection and protection solutions
