Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and pick lists, preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Verify product identification and quantities.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and policies.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, where applicable.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.
- Uphold the highest standards of workplace safety and professionalism.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
