Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport picked items to designated staging areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain the accuracy of inventory by reporting discrepancies and participating in cycle counts.
- Ensure assigned work areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity goals.
- Perform regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Understand and contribute to the overall logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform frequent lifting for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
