Our client is a global IT consulting and digital services company specializing in software development and consultancy. They empower enterprises and software companies to (re)identify their differentiation, accelerate solution development, and vigorously compete in today’s digital economy.
About the job As a member of their Sales Hunter team you will play a critical role in expanding our existing client base. You will have responsibility for achieving your quota in the region. The focus is predominantly new business growth (hunting).
You will work closely with the team to build and maintain a sales pipeline in the region, progress opportunities through the pipeline and negotiate to closure.
How you\'ll do it The ideal candidate is a deal-maker, empathic, self-motivated, a critical thinker, problem solver, well-spoken, professional, and is able to present confidently to small and large groups including at the Executive level. The perfect candidate is a team collaborator, fluent in German and English, and available to travel within the region.
Core responsibilities
All aspects of sales and business development including lead generation, relationship building, pipeline management, proposal development, high level solutions design, and pricing
Development and cultivation with key client stakeholders and prospects
Closely with customers and prospects to understand their businesses and how our client can help them to be more successful
Regular client contact including onsite visits
Commercial proposals and contracts
Scope, commercial and legal terms in contracts with support of the pre-sales, delivery, financial and legal teams
Account and contract overviews
Accurate forecasting, pipeline management and other sales process / infrastructures are established
Desired qualifications
Expertise in analyzing and understanding clients’ business and needs, preferably having consultative sales experience
Capacity to drive insightful/knowledge-based conversations with customers
Strong communication skills as well as solution and goal-oriented action
Open and communicative personality. Intercultural competence and persistence
Able to express controversial views and assertive with all with whom it communicates
Industry expertise within FSI (Banking or Insurance) is a plus
Job qualifications
You will probably hold a degree or master’s qualification
5+ successful years’ experience in a sales executive role and experience in dealing with demanding customers
Several years of experience in the Technology, Software, Digital sectors
Knowledgeable about public cloud technologies
