Account Executive – WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, MN, IA, NE and the Dakotas Join BD, a leading global medical technology company, as an Account Executive. In this role, you will develop and grow new and existing solutions within a small- to mid‑size sales territory across the specified states.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, drive, and monitor sales targets for assigned targeted accounts.

Build a compelling business case for our solutions and secure new or upsell opportunities.

Act as the liaison between your targeted accounts and BD’s cross‑functional teams.

Serve as a subject‑matter expert on our hardware and software solutions, presenting ROI to senior executives.

Negotiate contracts, close agreements, and manage the entire sales process.

Create and maintain account plans for top‑5 strategic targets, including long‑term plans.

Track all activity in BD’s CRM system and update quarterly territory plans.

About You – Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

5 + years of experience in new account development in a complex selling environment.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Experience working with C‑suite executives (CEO, CFO, CMO, CIO, etc.) and large accounts.

Solid proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.

Valid state‑issued driver’s license and 3 + years of continuous driving history; meets BD auto safety standards.

70 % travel required.

Preferred Experience

Capital equipment or healthcare sales experience.

Pharmacy automation or medical device sales.

Salary & Benefits Base salary $133,900 – $240,000 + incentives. Remote, field‑based or on‑site work arrangements vary by location.

Work Life BD requires a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week for most roles. Flexibility is provided for remote and field‑based positions.
