Job Description Summary As a sales professional, you will drive growth through new business development or upsell opportunities within our existing client base. Success in this role means cultivating strategic accounts, building strong relationships with business owners, and effectively communicating ROI to senior decision makers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, drive and monitor sales targets for assigned accounts.

Create compelling business cases and present ROI to C‑suite executives.

Act as the liaison between targeted accounts and BD’s cross‑functional teams.

Serve as an industry expert on our solutions and the market.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements to drive new business growth.

Learn and effectively use our sales process and our CRM system.

Maintain account plans for top 5 target accounts, including short, mid, and long‑term strategic plans.

Track all sales activity in our CRM.

Complete and update quarterly Sales Territory Plans.

About You

Bachelor’s degree required.

Proven experience in new account development, ideally 5+ years in a complex selling environment.

Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office, especially Excel.

Excellent communication and team‑management skills.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and business‑acumen skills.

Demonstrated success working with C‑suite executives and business owners.

Experience in capital equipment sales and/or healthcare system sales preferred.

Must meet a 50% travel requirement and maintain a valid, state‑issued driver’s license.

Salary & Compensation Base salary range: $133,900 – $240,000+. Incentive compensation and total compensation potential are aligned with experience, education, and performance.

Location, Travel & Licensing Primarily based at BD’s US headquarters with a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week. Remote or field‑based arrangements may be discussed during the interview process. Eligibility for travel to multiple states across the United States is required. All applicants must maintain a valid, state‑issued driver’s license and meet BD auto safety standards.
