Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join our growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field‑based

Account Executive . You’ll collaborate closely with sales leadership to shape go‑to‑market strategies and launch groundbreaking cancer screening technologies that will directly impact patients’ lives. In this role, you’ll be responsible for promoting the Shield colorectal cancer (CRC) blood test to healthcare providers in the primary care setting. Your work will drive early detection of cancer, helping save lives and reduce healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities Achieve sales targets by prospecting, building relationships, and executing national sales strategies. Target and engage healthcare providers; foster commitment to adopt Shield test for CRC and other cancers. Conduct challenger selling by understanding provider needs and demonstrating how Guardant Health’s offerings improve patient outcomes and streamline practice. Educate and support providers with product knowledge and training, ensuring smooth integration of Shield into workflow. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, coordinate business expansion, and execute launch plans for new screening technologies. Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics and report insights. Maintain high‑touch customer service and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications 4+ years in a customer‑facing sales role within the healthcare industry (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical), with a proven track record of success. Experience with diagnostic products, especially blood‑based testing or cancer screening products, preferred. Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape and ability to learn technical product knowledge quickly. Exceptional oral and written communication skills for presenting complex information understandably. Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Veeva for tracking interactions and sales progress. Superior negotiation, problem‑solving, and customer service skills, with a focus on long‑term partnership.

Personal Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Ability to travel daily within assigned territory and occasionally nationally.

Compensation US Location Base Pay Range: $116,000 – $133,000.

Hybrid Work Model All U.S. employees living within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work days for focused time.
