What We’re Looking For in You Comfort with cold calling by phone and in person Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures Inclusive communication skills with diverse audiences Motivated to learn new technology and systems Effective time management and self‑organization Willingness to immerse in the outdoor advertising industry and sell its benefits Professional verbal and written communication skills Adaptability to fluctuating workloads Ability to build relationships and gain trust Ability to meet sales quotas using general sales techniques Self‑motivation and resilience in the face of rejection

Education and Experience Valid driver’s license required College degree preferred Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite CRM experience preferred

Day in the Life Meet and exceed sales targets; monitor sales data and reports Target businesses in assigned area; visit existing Lamar clients and competitor clients Demonstrate knowledge of local and national competition Cluster accounts for efficient management Identify growth opportunities and open new accounts Use Lamar tools to locate prospects, follow up, and prepare proposals and presentations Develop presentation skills; present to clients regularly Participate in sales and regional meetings, seminars, trade shows Perform administrative duties:

Maintain sales plans a month in advance Follow up on client orders and problem‑solve issues Maintain organized records of clients and sales activity

Physical Demands And Work Environment Combination of office setting and field work (sales calls, servicing accounts) Light lifting, visual acuity, peripheral vision, sitting less than 50% time, standing, walking, talking Occasional nights away from home traveling (less than 10%)
