Sales Account Executive We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Account Executive to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. You’ll bring outdoor advertising campaigns to life for local brands, building long‑term relationships and exceeding sales objectives.

What we’re looking for in YOU

Comfort with cold calling and in‑person outreach.

Ability to deliver oral presentations and explain policies clearly.

Strong time management and self‑organization.

Passion for outdoor advertising and selling its benefits.

Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and meet sales quotas.

Resilience in the face of rejection.

Education and experience

Valid driver’s license.

College degree preferred.

Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales targets; track data and reports.

Target businesses in the assigned area, visiting established Lamar clients and competitors' clients.

Maintain knowledge of local and national competition.

Cluster accounts for efficient coverage.

Identify growth opportunities and open new accounts.

Use Lamar tools to locate prospects, follow up leads, and prepare proposals.

Develop presentation skills and present to clients regularly.

Participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.

Perform administrative duties such as sales planning, order follow‑up, and record keeping.

Physical demands and work environment

Combination of office and field work, light lifting, visual acuity required, mostly standing, talking, turning, and walking.

Travel less than 10% of the time.
