Our client, a nonprofit organization based in Irving, TX, is seeking a strategic and experienced IT Director to lead its technology operations and digital transformation efforts.
This leadership role is responsible for aligning the IT function with organizational goals through comprehensive oversight of infrastructure, ERP systems, and web architecture. The IT Director will manage a skilled team, oversee budgetary planning, and serve as a key technology advisor to executive leadership, ensuring high‑impact, cost‑effective solutions are deployed across departments.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with its goals and mission.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of ERP systems, integrating CRM, finance, sales, LMS, marketing, events, and other platforms.
Oversee IT infrastructure including networks, hardware, security, and enterprise applications.
Guide web architecture, SEO, and user experience strategies across the organization’s web properties.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing IT team and manage the department’s budget.
Collaborate with executive leadership to recommend and implement innovative technology solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and technology partners.
Monitor emerging technologies and assess their value for enhancing organizational performance.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and IT best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 in a leadership role.
Proven success designing and implementing complex ERP solutions.
Deep understanding of business processes and the application of technology to optimize performance.
Experience with AI‑enabled tools, business intelligence platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.
Hands‑on leadership with a strategic mindset and high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with executive teams.
