
Bid Specialist

Responsibilities
Create and coordinate the production of a bid proposal submission
Work closely with the bid department and other departments
Perform research that is necessary for a bid and accurately convey all information pertaining to the bid
Assist with document reviews, pricing summaries and other tasks as needed
Verify all required forms, certificates, signatures and other proposal requirements are included before processing complete bid
After each bid submission, create and distribute a list of projects/procedures to be completed by various departments for each bid, if awarded
Establish work plans, meeting minutes and responses as needed
Prepare agenda/schedule for webinars
Be able to handle high-stress situations under tight deadlines and work extra hours if needed
Specific Skills
Must be computer savvy and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
Must have professional customer service skills
Must have strong organization skills, know how to prioritize, and have a strong attention to detail
Must know how to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
Must maintain a strong sense of urgency
Must possess effective problem-solving skills
Must have the ability to work independently and complete tasks on time
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
Job Type Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
