What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Prepare repair orders by documenting symptoms, problems, and required services based on technician submissions.
Verify accuracy of VMRS codes and billing hours related to repairs.
Generate invoices from repair orders, applying customer‑specific rates and mark‑ups.
Improve repair order quality by identifying and correcting inaccuracies to eliminate customer disputes.
Communicate with customers to obtain purchase order approvals and address billing inquiries.
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient with estimating systems such as Mitchell One.
Strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills, along with customer service abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and general software navigation for generating estimates and processing invoices.
Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and maintain attention to detail.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in service writing is preferred.
Existing knowledge of standard repair times for common services.
Ability to work independently while also being effective in a team environment.
