As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing advanced network solutions, focusing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies. You will work with Cisco Nexus switches, configure VLANs, and troubleshoot routing protocols to optimize network performance. This position offers hands‑on exposure to enterprise‑grade hardware and protocols, making it ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage LAN/WAN networks and TCP/IP infrastructure
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and routers
Work with routing protocols including Static, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
Assign ports into VLANs to enhance LAN security
Perform hardware replacements and software upgrades
Configure Cisco Nexus switches and Virtual Port Channel (vPC) setups
Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in network engineering roles
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, IPv4 infrastructure
Hands‑on experience with Layer 2/3 switches and routers
Proficiency in routing protocols (Static, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Experience with Cisco Nexus switches and vPC configuration
Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
CCNP Routing & Switching certification
Familiarity with network security best practices
Experience with network monitoring tools
Knowledge of QoS and advanced network optimization techniques
Exposure to enterprise network migrations and upgrades
