C Harper Collision is growing!!! We have a job opening for a Body Shop Collision Estimator at a brand-new location opening soon in New Alexandria, PA at our Chevrolet East Sore location. Job duties include writing estimates, conducting process reviews, checking in customer vehicles, completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice), and providing post repair plan communication including all vehicle status updates to customers while complying with all company and insurance safety rules, guidelines and standards. The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. Duties also include handling supplements, sublet scheduling, assisting the parts department for body shop and coordinating all necessary repairs to restore a vehicle to pre-loss condition. The Estimator will accurately assess vehicle damage and document required repairs and parts replacement. This role plays a pivotal role in the customer experience with unlimited career growth potential.
Requirements
2+ years of collision estimating experience; sales experience also preferred
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
Must possess a PA Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License
Abilities / Skills / Knowledge
Ability to perform consistent physical activity: reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lift objects over 50 lbs
Prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
Advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
Strong sales orientation
Able to understand written and verbal instructions
Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
Be self-sufficient and able to work independently.
Compensation Details Base Salary plus monthly bonus based upon gross sales.
